Yeah, That Vancouver Marketing Campaign
Campaign and material created by Taylor Pulsipher for the tourism bureau of Vancouver, Washington. With the close proximity of Vancouver, WA to Vancouver BC, this campaign was created to distinguish the "other" Vancouver as a viable up-and-coming tourism spot in the Portland market. Using the newly opened waterfront park as the main images to draw in the viewer, these ads were created to confidently, and playfully, respond to the typical Portland mindset of Vancouver with a simple "yeah, that Vancouver."
Marketing materials created for campaign include; digital ads placed on websites of local Portland news outlets (Willamette Week, Portland Mercury, Portland Monthly), printed ads in a variety of regional magazines including Alaska Airlines' Beyond Magazine and Amtrak's OnTrak Magazine, multiple billboards and outdoor posters placed throughout key areas in Portland, and a large advertisement banner in the Seattle–Tacoma International Airport.
